Q: Do we have to get a package or can we just do court time?

A: You can rent just the court time without any food or beverage packages. However, no outside food or beverage is allowed. There are restrictions for the month of December. Please call your events coordinator for further information.

Q: Can we bring in our own food and/or beverages?

A: Outside Beverages are never allowed. The Chicago and Vernon Hills locations do not allow outside food unless renting the entire facility. The Lombard location permits outside food with rentals of at least three hours.

Q: Are minors allowed in the facility?

A: In Chicago, after 5:00 PM you must be able to present a picture ID that proves you are over 21 years old. Minors will be allowed in the facility during reserved court time only and they will only be allowed on the courts, not in the main part of the facility.

A: In Vernon Hills, after 5:00 PM customers aged 16-20 are permitted to utilize the Upper Deck Grill before and after their reserved time or while waiting for an activity to become available. Pool tables and video games are available for your enjoyment.

Q: Can we just walk-in and play a pick up game?

A: As long as there are no other reservations and referee staff is on duty, then walk-ins are welcome to purchase court time at $12 per person per 1/2 hour. Please keep in mind that after 5:00 PM our Chicago location requires minors to exit the facility when they are not utilizing WhirlyBall or LaserTron.

Q: How can I purchase a Gift Certificate?

A: WhirlyBall gift certificates can be purchased at any one of our three Chicagoland locations (Chicago, Lombard, or Vernon Hills) or online through our Secure Order Form.
