Don’t miss the 106th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on Friday, November 22, at 6pm! The ceremony will feature music, Santa Claus, and a short program.  If you can’t make it to the ceremony, be sure to stop by Millennium Park sometime during the holiday season to take in the splendor of this beautiful display.

This free, family-friendly event takes place over two days - November 22nd and 23rd and you won’t want to miss it! It’s the nation’s largest evening holiday celebration and includes a grand tree-lighting parade, Mickey & Minnie Mouse, holiday shopping, and a fireworks display. Yes, we are all eager to start celebrating Christmas, but let’s take time to enjoy Thanksgiving too!  Don’t miss the Chicago Thanksgiving Day Parade, which starts at 8am on State Street. Enjoy gigantic balloons, marching bands, majestic horses, festive floats, incredible performance groups, and an appearance from Santa Claus!
