OUR HEALTH AND SAFETY MEASURES

We are implementing new measures around Guest and Team Member health and safety, while working with state and local health officials to ensure we are following reopening guidelines.

In order to make sure your visit is a safe one, we need a little help from a very important person: YOU. Please help us by abiding by these new safety measures and respecting other guests’ space throughout the venue.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is WhirlyBall responding to the COVID-19 outbreak?

We continue to follow our existing industry-leading protocols, which prepare us for unforeseen events like COVID-19. We’ve made changes to protect you and our Team Members.

We have new social distancing guidelines, new protocols to keep our Team Members healthy and safe, and enhanced disinfecting measures for your playing pleasure.

WhirlyBall is committed to creating an environment where everyone can play with confidence. We ask that you join us in our Dedication to Playing it Safe by keeping these things in mind on your next visit:

  • Wash hands and use sanitizer provided for you to use before and after playing
  • Remember to practice social distancing responsibly
  • If you don’t feel well, stay home and join us another time

What measures are you taking to ensure the safety and wellbeing of your WhirlyBall Team Members?

All Team Members are required to enter the venue via a designated door and have a health check on arrival. All Associates are required to wear masks at all times, follow frequent handwashing protocols, per CDC guidelines, and socially distance during breaks and meetings.

What are the steps WhirlyBall is taking to make your activities safe to play?

Our venues have been re-imagined for small groups during these times creating private and semi-private areas for groups to have fun.

  • WhirlyBall - Our WhirlyBall courts are fully enclosed allowing only those part of your group to be in this private area. WhirlyBugs, Scoops, Balls, and entrances will be disinfected between groups.
  • Bowling - We have created lane dividers and are using every other lane to maintain social distancing.
  • Laser Tag – Our arena is fully enclosed only allowing those part of your group to be in the arena. Vests, Phasers, touch points and obstacles will be disinfected between groups.

Should I be concerned about the safety of my food and beverage items?

According to FDA, there is currently no evidence to suggest that food produced in the United States can transmit COVID-19.

Am I required to wear a facemask when visiting WhirlyBall?

Although face coverings are recommended, they will not be required when visiting WhirlyBall unless required by local or State orders. Our Team Members will be wearing facemasks and will be able to provide you one if you don’t have your own.

Are there any changes to the check-in procedure?

Guests will be greeted at the front entrance to the venue and explained the new safety measures. All guests’ temperatures will be taken with a touchless thermometer. Six-foot social distancing markers are placed throughout the lobby and the check-in desk has a safety barrier to mitigate person-to-person contact.

If at capacity, Guests will be asked to wait in their cars or a designated area and not congregate.

Can I arrange an event or party?

Events have been limited to small parties for the time being. At this time, we highly recommend reserving your group’s Court, Lane, or LaserTag Arena prior to your arrival as we anticipate limited availability and long wait times for walk-ins. We will constantly re-evaluate health standards to decide when to bring larger events back online in a safe manner.
