OnMilwaukee: WhirlyBall to Reopen by Reservation Only at Brookfield Square

WhirlyBall has announced that it will officially reopen its Milwaukee area location inside Brookfield Square at 185 S. Moorland Rd. on Saturday, May 1.

Reservations will be required for groups of any size, guaranteeing dedicated space for safer enjoyment of the facility’s two WhirlyBall courts, 12 bowling lanes and a multi-level LaserTag arena.

The adjoining chef-driven restaurant, The Pivot Room, which reopened earlier in the pandemic, will also be available to satiate guests' hunger with fresh takes on classic American fare, craft beer and cocktails, plus an expansive patio and terrace.

The spacious 45,000 square foot facility also boasts a powerful ventilation system and expansive outdoor patio and terrace, along with safety precautions that align with CDC and state guidelines.

“After pressing pause to prioritize the health and safety of our team and guests, we’re thrilled to reopen our doors and welcome our community back,” noted Adam Elias, Vice President of WhirlyBall in a release on the opening.

“Our team has been diligent about following reopening guidelines and while there are new safety practices in place, WhirlyBall still offers the same great fun that our guests know and love. Following a year of missed celebrations from birthdays, graduations and mitzvahs to rehearsal dinners, weddings and bachelor/bachelorette parties, we cannot wait to help our guests create lasting memories while they Eat, Drink and Game On with us at WhirlyBall.”

More on safety

For a safe reopening, WhirlyBall has taken extensive precautionary safety measures in line with CDC guidelines to protect guests and team members. Offering the highest standard of cleanliness, WhirlyBall, Bowling, LaserTag and common areas will be disinfected between each group, hand sanitizer will be readily available throughout the facility, and frequent handwashing protocols will be followed.

Common areas have been equipped with six-foot social distancing markers, and groups will enjoy increased privacy from others during play. WhirlyBall and LaserTag are both fully enclosed allowing one group at a time, and lane dividers and every other lane will be used for Bowling.

Team members will receive a daily health check upon arriving to work and will wear a face mask at all times. For more information on how WhirlyBall is responding to the COVID-19 pandemic, visit whirlyball.com.
